Vanity

Vanity, thy name is DaffodilI had the "clever" caption for this before I even snapped it. Unfortunately, I was so "focused" on the reflection that I let the bending flowers drift distractingly out of focus. And with oft mis-placed confidence, I had, of course, wandered on after just one shot. (Gotta get a camera with a larger display that I can see with aging eyes!) Rather than abandon my caption, I decided to render the image as a watercolor to minimize the focus issue. I can be so single-minded sometimes!I was asked by the folks at http://photographycorner.com to submit some photos to accompany an interview they did a few weeks ago. If you might be interested, you can see it here:http://www.photographycorner.com/blog/2011/05/smugmug-corner-94-john-robertsSome of you have already seen it and your kind comments are much appreciated.Vanity, thy name is Daffodil
