Flowing Waters

This is a 3.5 acre Japanese garden in Seattle, Washington, located in the southwest corner of the Washington Park Arboretum along Lake Washington Boulevard E. This is a great place to shoot almost any time of year. There is, of course color, but he main interest for me are the shapes, dimension and shades of green. They all stand out in almost any kind of lighting.

Tripods are not allowed here except on certain designated “photography” days but it’s always crowded then. So plan on bumping your ISO up a bit and don’t have too much coffee before you start.
