This was taken at the Seattle Japanese Garden. It’s one of hundreds of Red Leaf Maples there. I’m sorry but I don’t know the specific variety.
After the usual PP, I applied a little Tonal Contrast. I then selected and slightly feathered the branches and applied a PS Emboss filter with Overlay blend and adjusted the Opacity to make it appear to come forward from the screen. In X2, it has a little feel of 3D.
