Sunshine and Shadows in February

We had a rare day in February here in Western Washington and with pent-up eagerness, I spent all day Saturday driving and shooting. Left the house at 0530 and didn’t get home until after 8:00. Shot the sunrise over the Cascade mountains and the sunset over the Olympics. In between I shot two lighthouses, two WWII coastal artillery forts, a historic waterfront and Deception Pass.

This is the old Mukliteo lighthouse near Everett, WA. If you’re a lighthouse buff, there’s more info here.

While I was waiting for good weather, I started another project!! I have been pleased with the handling of purchased prints on SmugMug but I felt that the options for ordering cards were weak. So I started a shop at Etsy for note cards. Finally got it sorted out and went “live” today. Currently, there are 5 sets of 4 cards each. I’ll continue to add sets over the next month or so.Take a look at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/JohnJRoberts or click the banner near the top of the column on the left of the page.
