These women were very intent on their work at the local Farmers’ Market. I waited “in the wings” for a few minutes for some passing clouds (and crowds) to open for this shot.
We are fortunate here in Bellevue to have a number of farmers’ markets within a few miles. We can generally find one open everyday except Sunday. But with Winter coming on, they’re all shuttered now and I put my garden to bed last month. Only carrots, kale and cabbage out their now. I’ve some of my peas and beans frozen and some canned sauerkraut that I put up. I guess I’ll have to fight the crowds at Whole Foods for fresh veggies until Spring.
This is the second of a series of posts about markets. I think I’ll stay with this theme for a few more that I have.
